Navigating New Flexible Learning Environments. Learning Environments VP Patricia Cadigan, ALEP, M.Ed., led a conversation about the importance of professional learning to empower teachers in new, flexible education spaces. Panelists included Rachel Pampel, architect and educational planer at Perkins&Will; Dr. Dan Callaghan, superintendent, Kirby School District 140, and veteran Kirby SD teachers Ashley Salvador and Felicia Kunelis.
Breakout session attendees in Salon C got hands-on experience with Artcobell's multi-functional classroom. This space combines mobile, configurable desks and tables with a variety of seating options, giving teachers and learners the opportunity to create the space for themselves.
